USPS is increasing rates for nearly all domestic shipments from October 6th to January 19th.

Starting October 6th, USPS is increasing the rates for the 2024 peak holiday season for nearly all shipments, but you'll still save the most booty when you buy labels on Pirate Ship! To see how much you'll save, plug your package's information into our Rates Calculator ????


Rates will increase for nearly all domestic USPS shipments except Media Mail & Ground Advantage packages between 8 - 15.99oz that aren't sent to/from military or off-shore locations

Nearly All USPS Services Affected: The increase applies to nearly all domestic USPS services except Media Mail and certain Ground Advantage shipments that aren't being sent from military addresses or Alaska/Hawaii/U.S. Territories.

International services will not increase

The temporary rate increase applies only to domestic USPS services. International USPS services such as First Class Package International, Priority Mail International, and Priority Mail Express International are not affected.


Priority Mail Flat Rate increases

All Flat Rate Envelopes: $0.50 increase

Small Flat Rate Boxes: $0.50 increase

Medium Flat Rate Boxes: $0.85 increase

Large Flat Rate Boxes: $1.20 increase

Priority Mail Express Flat Rate increases

All domestic Priority Mail Express Flat Rate services will increase by $1.55
