I'm not going to make a statement or explain any of this excerpt from the LandLine.media article (published December 12,2017). Feel free to look this article up yourself.
I only want to ask one question: Does the name SHAUN BEAM sound familiar?
"In March, Beam Bros. Trucking, Gerald Beam, Garland Beam, SHAUN BEAM [all caps added] and Nicholas Kozel were charged for more than 120 felony counts for falsifying records and coercing employees to violate Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations during its contract with USPS."
"Although the four executives escaped felony charges, the company, Mount Crawfor, Va. based Beam Bros. Trucking was found guilty of at least one felony count and was fined $250,000 and must pay $2 million in forfeitures and $1 million in restitution."
"Additionally, Beam Bros. Trucking DID NOT PAY DRIVERS FOR "ON-DUTY" TIME AS REQUIRED BY THE SERVICE CONTRACT ACT [all caps added]. The act requires subcontractors hired by the U.S. Government to pay employees for each hour or portion of an hour worked at a rate no less than minimum wage. According to SCA regulations, this includes waiting time."
"Beam Bros. Trucking prevented drivers who were aware of SCA from sharing that information with fellow drivers and government agencies."
"On Nov. 28, the company was ordered to pay a $250,000 fine and nearly $1 million in restitution."
"Approximately one month after the original indictment, Beam Bros. was taken over by Homewood, Ill based Eagle Express Lines, Inc."
"Sean Beam, Beam Bros. operations manager, was sentenced to two years of probation, three months of home confinement, 100 hours of community service and a $2,000 fine."
